Realme GT 6T price and specifications were officially revealed today. It’s the first smartphone in India with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset. The smartphone also boasts a peak brightness mode of 6000 nits, the highest ever. Realme GT 6T marks the comeback of the brand’s GT series in India after a hiatus. Realme GT 6T price in India, sale details

  • Realme GT 6T has been launched in four variants. The base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs 30,999. The 8GB + 256GB variant has a price tag of Rs 32,999. 
  • It comes in two more variants of 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB priced at Rs 35,999 and Rs 39,999, respectively. 
  • The first sale for the Realme GT 6T is scheduled to take place on May 29th via realme.com, Amazon, and retail stores. Realme is also offering an instant discount of Rs 4,000 for HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and SBI credit card holders. 
  • You can get the smartphone in two colour options: Fluid Silver and Razor Green.

Realme GT 6T specifications

Realme GT 6T features a 6.78-inch FHD+ (2780 x 1264 pixels resolution) 1.5K display with an 8T LTPO panel, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone also has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection on top. It has a normal brightness mode of 1000 nits, a high brightness mode of 1600 nits, and a peak brightness mode of 6000 nits. Each mode will be activated according to the outdoor brightness level. It’s worth mentioning that this is the highest brightness level available on a smartphone. 

The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor. It’s the first phone in India to feature this chipset. In comparison to the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, this chipset is said to offer a 15 percent increase in CPU performance and a 45 percent boost in GPU power. You also get up to 12GB RAM and 512GB of onboard storage with the Realme GT 6T.

For cameras, you get a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary camera with OIS and an 8MP SONY IMX355 wide-angle lens. It has a 32MP Sony IMX615 front camera for selfies. Realme GT 6T packs a 5,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. On the software front, the smartphone runs realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14. You get four years of security updates and three years of OS updates. The smartphone also comes with Wi-Fi 6, a USB Type-C port, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. 

Realme GT 6T alternatives

Realme GT 6T is touted to be a powerful mid-range smartphone with the latest chipset, super-bright display, and fast charging. But the smartphone will have quite a few contenders at this price point. While we can’t comment on its performance yet, we can say that the Realme GT 6T will compete with the likes of the Motorola Edge 50 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+.
