The PCMark battery benchmark logs the time a smartphone’s battery takes to drop from 100 percent to under 20 percent when subjected to mixed workloads. The Realme Narzo 70 registered a score of 14 hours and 49 minutes on the test, while the POCO X6 Neo registered a score of 10 hours 38 minutes in the test. The benchmark results suggest that the Narzo 70 should offer better battery backup than the X6 Neo in real-world usage.

Video streaming
Next up, we played the same YouTube video on both devices to gauge their battery drain percentage. After 30 minutes of playback time on each, both the Narzo 70 and X6 Neo registered a battery drain of 4 percent. This round ends in a tie.

Gaming test
For our gaming tests, we played BGMI and Call of Duty: Mobile on both devices for roughly 30 minutes each and noted their respective battery drain percentages. Once again, both the Realme Narzo 70 and POCO X6 Neo registered a total drain of 16 percent each. Both phones boast an equally resilient battery.

Charging speed
The Realme Narzo 70 boasts a faster 45W charging speed compared to the POCO X6 Neo’s 33W fast charging. The same is reflected in their real-life performance, with the former taking 52 minutes to recharge completely from 20 to 100 percent and the latter taking 73 minutes to achieve the same. The Realme Narzo 70 wins when it comes to charging speeds.

Verdict
The battery comparison was a close contest between the two smartphones, but ultimately, the Narzo 70 secured a narrow victory over the X6 Neo. This can be chiefly attributed to its faster charging speeds. The POCO X6 Neo is a strong competitor, with nearly identical battery drain compared to the Realme Narzo 70, which is not reflected in its PCMark score.
If you value battery life, both smartphones offer a capable battery at their price. However, the Realme Narzo 70 5G could be a better deal since it offers better charging speed.
