Realme’s next P-series phone teased on Flipkart: is this the 10,000mAh giant everyone is talking about?

Highlights

Realme has started to make things official around its next mid-range endurance-focussed P-series phone for India. After weeks of leaks, a dedicated microsite has gone live on Flipkart, confirming that a new P-series smartphone is on the way and will be sold on the platform. While Realme hasn’t explicitly revealed the name of the phone yet, this is the first sign that the launch is close, but that’s not the exciting part. The phone could come with a battery capacity unheard of in mainstream phones in India.

The Flipkart teaser doesn’t give away much in terms of specs, but drops some hints. It shows a roadmap of the P series so far, from the Realme P1 to the P4, and points to the next model in line, which makes us believe it could be the Realme P5. The messaging, with taglines like “Back with the power” and “A smAAAH-rtphone built to make history”, strongly leans towards battery endurance.

This makes us believe, and also lends credibility to previous rumours, that it is the same 10,000mAh battery phone Realme has been rumoured to release. The 10,000mAh batterywould be a first for a mainstream phone in India. The microsite doesn’t confirm this outright, but does drop hints.

The phone, believed to carry the model number RMX5107, had previously shown up on the Bureau of Indian Standards website, with a tipster suggesting a late-January launch timeline. There have also been Telegram leaks linked to the same model number that mention a 10,001mAh battery, along with Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0 and higher memory options.
