Clearly, battery size alone isn’t a differentiator anymore. It’s becoming part of the baseline expectation in certain mid-range segments, especially for users prioritising endurance.

On the chipset side, the tipped Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 or Dimensity 7400 places the phone closer to upper mid-range performance. That also brings it into indirect competition with devices like the OnePlus Nord CE 6, which is confirmed to feature an 8,000mAh battery and a 144Hz display.

If this leak holds, Realme’s approach looks to be bringing higher-end display specs into a lower price band. For buyers, a 165Hz display sounds appealing, but its practical benefit depends on app and game support. Similarly, a 9,000mAh battery improves endurance, but also adds weight and size.

The combination of chipset, optimisation, and pricing will decide how competitive this phone actually is.
