The Realme V5 design revealed in the teaser image also tells us that the phone will come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. This suggests that the display will use an LCD panel instead of an AMOLED panel. The quad camera system at the back will include a 48MP primary sensor as inscribed on the module. We’re not completely sure what the other camera sensors are for, but we would guess it includes a wide-angle lens, and possibly a telephoto or macro lens or both.
The phone is shown in a shiny silver colour option with a large Realme branding inscribed on the back, similar to the Realme Narzo 10A. The Realme V5 is speculated to be the Realme RMX2121 that appeared on TENAA a little while back. The display is expected to support a high refresh rate and could be 6.5-inch in size. The phone may also house a 4,400mAh battery and support 65W fast charging.
The upcoming Realme V5 smartphone will be a 5G smartphone, but it seems unlikely that it’s a flagship phone we’re looking at here. This is likely a premium mid-range smartphone that may be powered by a mid-tier Snapdragon 765G or Mediatek Dimensity 800 chipset. According to tipster Ishan Agarwal, based on information provided by Twitter user Himanshu, the Realme V5 5G will be available with 6GB or 8GB RAM along with 128GB internal storage and will appear in Breaking Light, Blue and Silver colours.
