At the Xiaomi Smarter Living event, the company has launched the Redmi Pad SE tablet in India. This originally debuted in China last year in August and comes with an 11-inch display, Snapdragon 680 chipset, an 8,000mAh battery, and MIUI 14 custom skin out of the box. The tablet will be sold in only a Wi-Fi-only variant as there’s no 4G version.

Redmi Pad SE price in India, sale details

Redmi Pad SE is priced at Rs 12,999 for the 4GB/128GB, Rs 13,999 for the 6GB/128GB model and Rs 14,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant. The tablet comes in Graphite Gray and Lavender Purple colours.

The company is offering an instant Rs 1,000 bank discount with ICICI Card. There is also a Redmi Pad SE cover which is priced at Rs 1,299. The sale of the Redmi Pad SE will start on April 24th via Amazon, Flipkart, Xiaomi website, and Xiaomi retail stores.

The Redmi Buds 5A have a special launch price of Rs 1,499 and the sale will start on April 29th via Mi.com, Xiaomi and Reliance stores. These will be available in Black and White colours. 

Redmi Pad SE specifications

The Redmi Pad SE sports an 11-inch FHD+ display with 1920×1200 pixel resolution, 400nits brightness, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 84.4 percent screen-to-body ratio, and up to 90Hz refresh rate. The tablet is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 Mobile Platform with Adreno 610 GPU for graphics. The chipset is paired with 4GB/6GB/8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB eMMC 5.1 internal storage, which is further expandable via a microSD card.

The tablet runs on Android 13-based MIUI 14 custom skin out of the box. We get an 8MP shooter with f/2.3 aperture. There is a 5MP shooter on the front for video chats. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, and a USB Type-C. There is an 8,000mAh battery with 10W charging support.

The tablet is equipped with Dolby Atmos and stereo speakers. The Redmi Pad SE measures 255.53mm x 167.08mm x 7.36mm.

The Redmi Buds 5A TWS earbuds come with ‘Active Noise Cancellation’ support for up to 25db and AI ENC to ensure proper calls even in noisy environments. There’s also a transparency mode which keeps you aware of the surroundings. The earbuds are powered by 12mm drivers, which are claimed to offer dynamic audio and deep bass to deliver an immersive audio experience. There’s Google Fast Pair, IPX4 rating, and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity.

Xiaomi claims the Redmi Buds 5A can last up to 30 hours including the carry case on a single charge. There’s quick charge support, a 10 minutes of fast charging is claimed to offer 90 minutes of playtime. The earbuds feature ‘Low Latency’ for quick response and touch control to control music with the touch controls.
