This is what Samsung Galaxy A54 5G will look like

The concept takes some major design cues from the Galaxy A series design language, but the bezels around the display have been made symmetrical. If you don’t know, the Galaxy A53 5G has a thicker bezel at the bottom of the screen, which might not be the case with its successor. LetsGoDigital reports that the mid-range Galaxy smartphones will have the appearance of the top-end models in the future.

Nothing much is expected to be changed in the display department. The Samsung Galaxy A54 5G might come with the same 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate as the Galaxy A53 5G does. However, there are chances that the overall footprint of the smartphone will be smaller than the Galaxy A53 5G despite having the same sized display.

Like the Galaxy A53 5G, the Galaxy A54 5G will come with a punch-hole camera placed in the top centre of the display. However, there is no word on what sensor Samsung will be using for the front camera in the upcoming smartphone. Also, the fingerprint sensor will go underneath the screen.

Samsung Galaxy A54 5G to come with better low light processing

With the Galaxy A54 5G, Samsung might get rid of the protruded camera island seen on the current-gen Galaxy A series smartphones. The renders show a thinner camera bump with the same colour scheme as the rest of the smartphone, having the same camera arrangement as the Galaxy A53 5G. There is no word on the sensors, but it could be the same or something new with better performance than this year’s model.

Will Galaxy A53 5G come with a Mediatek chipset?

The Galaxy A54 5G is still a year away from launch, so it’s too early to comment on its specifications. But considering the specifications of current Galaxy A series smartphones, the Galaxy A54 5G could come with a mid-tier Snapdragon or Exynos chipset, or maybe we could also get to see a Mediatek chipset under the hood since Samsung is already considering putting one inside the upcoming Galaxy S series smartphones.

Moreover, the smartphone might come with Android 13 out of the box with 4 years of Android updates and 5 years of security updates.

The Galaxy A54 5G is expected to arrive sometime around March next year, while the 4G variant of the smartphone might debut in early 2023. Samsung could add some more colours to the Galaxy A54 5G in addition to the Black, Blue and Peach currently available with the Galaxy A53 5G.
