After several reports on the phone being cancelled, Samsung will indeed launch the device now and it looks like January 4th could be the date. The phone was recently spotted on the official Samsung support page and 91mobiles also recently revealed the phone’s India launch timeline. The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is expected to launch on January 4th. Now, German publication WinFuture has revealed detailed specifications of the Galaxy S21 FE along with official press renders. As per the report, the Galaxy S21 FE would feature a 6.4-inch FHD+ flat AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz and resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels with a pixel density of 401ppi. It would have an under-display fingerprint sensor and Gorilla Glass Victus protection on top.
Under the hood, Samsung Galaxy S21 FE would be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. The chipset might be paired with either 6GB/8GB RAM or 128GB/256GB of internal storage. The device could house a 4,500mAh battery with support for wired fast charging and Qi-based wireless charging. The Galaxy S21 would feature an IP68 rating for protection against dust, dirt and sand.
