Samsung is gearing up for the launch of its Samsung Galaxy S23 series of smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy S23 series, consisting of the vanilla Samsung Galaxy S23, the Samsung Galaxy S23+, and the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones, will be unveiled on February 1st, 2023, during the brand’s upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. Ahead of the official release, however, the full specifications and pricing details of the Samsung Galaxy S23 and the Samsung Galaxy S23+ have leaked, leaving little room for guesswork.

Samsung Galaxy S23, Samsung Galaxy S23+ specifications leaked

According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy S23 will feature a 6.1-inch Super AMOLED display, while the Samsung Galaxy S23+ will make room for a larger 6.6-inch display. Both devices are said to feature FHD+ resolution and a 48Hz-120Hz variable refresh rate. Plus, both devices will reportedly feature HDR10+ support and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The devices will be 7.6mm thin, as per the report.

Coming to the cameras, the Samsung Galaxy S23 and the Samsung Galaxy S23+ will reportedly have a new 12MP selfie camera, which will support up to 4K 60fps HDR10+ videos. The camera is also said to feature dual-pixel autofocus. At the back, both devices are said to come with a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.

As far as software is concerned, all three devices in the Samsung Galaxy S23 are likely to run Android 13-based OneUI 5.1 skin out of the box. The devices will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which will be paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy S23+ will also be available in a 512GB memory variant.

Coming to the batteries of the devices, the Samsung Galaxy S23 is expected to have a 3,900mAh battery with 25W wired fast charging, while the Samsung Galaxy S23+ will likely feature a larger 4,700mAh battery with up to 45W fast charging.

Samsung Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, S23 Ultra price leaked

Both devices will reportedly be made available in Black, Cotton, Green, and Purple colour options. The Samsung Galaxy S23 series Australian prices have leaked which suggest the vanilla Galaxy S23 will start at AUS $1,350 (around Rs 77,140), while the Samsung Galaxy S23+ is tipped to start at $1,650 (around Rs 94,280). The top-tier Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra could very well be priced around $1,950 (around Rs 1.11 lakh) for the base variant.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 series prices are higher than its predecessors. The Galaxy S22 series prices were AUS $1,249, $1,549, and $1,849 for the three models.
