POCO F5/POCO F5 Pro: POCO will be launching two phones on May 9th, one in India (the vanilla POCO F5) and another globally (POCO F5 Pro). The vanilla model is said to be a rebrand of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, while the Pro version is a rebadge of the Redmi K60.

POCO F5 and F5 Pro specs: The POCO F5 and F5 Pro are expected to come with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole selfie camera. While the former will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen2 SoC, the latter could ship with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset. Both phones are expected to pack up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Running the show is Android 13 OS with MIUI 14 custom skin out of the box.

There is a 5,160mAh battery with 67W fast charging support on the POCO F5, while the POCO F5 gets a larger 5000mAh unit. POCO F5 is expected to pack triple cameras on the back, with a 64MP primary camera sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro sensor. There will be a 16MP shooter on the front for selfies. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.

Realme 11 series: Realme 11 series is set to launch in China on May 10th. However, there are chances the brand might only debut the Realme 11 Pro phones on the stage and reserve the vanilla models for a later date. The Realme 11 Pro+ is expected to come with a large 200MP camera unit on the back, a leather finish, and a curved display.

Realme 11 series specifications: The Realme 11 Pro+ and Realme 11 Pro are expected to come with the same 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the phones is the MediaTek Dimensity 7000-series chipset paired with at least 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Both phones are likely to boot Android 13 OS out of the box and pack a 5000mAh battery. The Realme 11 Pro+ will have 100W fast charging support, while the Pro will get slightly lower 67W charging support. 

The Realme 11 Pro+ 5G is tipped to feature a 200MP primary camera, an 8MP secondary lens, and a 2MP third camera. On the other hand, the Realme 11 Pro 5G is tipped to get a 100MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary lens. Both phones could house a 16MP shooter.

Motorola Razr 40 Ultra: Motorola Razr 40 Ultra will be the brand’s new premium foldable phone. There are multiple rumours about the phone in recent times, revealing what’s in store for us. The Razr 40 Ultra will also be the first foldable with a large secondary screen on the back. speculations are rife that the screen might sport a 3.5-inch size.

Motorola Razr 40 Ultra specifications: The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra will have a 6.7-inch folding OLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. There will be a 3.5-inch screen on the back and might come with a higher screen refresh rate. Powering the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage that might not be further expandable. The exact launch date of the phone is not revealed but will debut sometime in May.

There is a 3640mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. As for the cameras, the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra will have a 50MP primary camera with OIS support and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens. There will be a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video calls.

iQOO Neo 8 Pro: The iQOO Neo 8 Pro is tipped to be in the works just months after launching the iQOO Neo 7. As the name suggests, this will be a premium offering in the mid-range segment. The handset is expected to come with the MediaTek Dimensity 9200/9200+ SoC, which is quite powerful.

iQOO Neo 8 Pro specifications: Not much is known about the iQOO Neo 8 Pro but rumours point that the phone will come with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage but there could be other choices at launch. There could be triple cameras on the back, led by a 50MP primary sensor, a 32MP 2x telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens. There is a 32MP shooter on the front for selfies. Pixel 7a/Pixel Fold: Google is expected to launch the Pixel 7a and Pixel Fold foldable phone at the company’s I/O conference on May 10th. The Pixel Fold will be the brand’s first foldable offering and will look to take on competitors like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4, OPPO Find N2, and others. While the Pixel 7a will be the brand’s new A-series offering that will be in the mid-range segment. The handset might debut in India but an exact date is not confirmed.

Pixel 7a specifications: The Pixel 7a is tipped to sport a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter, and symmetrical bezels. The phone is powered by the Tensor G2 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage with UFS 3.1 storage. Android 13 OS will take care of the software side of things.

The Pixel 7a will have a 64MP rear camera with OIS and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. For selfies, the phone is tipped to house a 10.8MP front camera. There will be a 4400mAh battery with 20W wired charging and wireless charging support. Connectivity options could include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging.

Pixel Fold specs: The Pixel Fold will have a 5.8-inch FHD+ OLED display with 2092×1080 pixels resolution and a 17.4:9 aspect ratio. The inner display is a 7.6-inch OLED screen with a 6:5 aspect ratio and 380ppi. Both screens will have a 120Hz refresh rate. The foldable is tipped to be powered by the in-house Tensor G2 chipset along with a Titan M2 security chip. The foldable will pack up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.

The Pixel Fold will have a triple camera setup, with a 48MP main sensor, a 10.8MP telephoto lens, and a 10.8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. There will be a 9.5MP outer selfie shooter and an 8MP inner front camera. The foldable is expected to pack a 4,700mAh battery and boot Android 13 OS.
