Vivo S60t spotted on China Telecom with 7,200mAh battery, could launch globally as Vivo V80
A new Vivo smartphone has appeared on China Telecom’s product database, potentially offering an early look at the phone that could eventually launch globally as the Vivo V80. The listing identifies the device as Vivo V2620A, with the model number previously appearing on the Google Play Supported Devices List, where it was linked to the Vivo S60t moniker.

The China Telecom listing reveals a 6.59-inch display, a 7,200mAh battery and a triple rear-camera setup. Its design also resembles the recently teased Vivo V80, adding weight to speculation that the S60t could be a China-market version of the upcoming V-series phone, which is confirmed to launch in October.

The listing shows a phone with a centred punch-hole display and a large camera plateau on the rear. The module houses two prominent circular camera rings alongside a smaller sensor and flash. The phone is shown in Starry Sea, Midsummer Night and Early Summer Green colour options. The overall design is also consistent with the Vivo S60 series, supporting speculation that the S60t could be rebranded as a V80 for international markets.
The listed dimensions are 157.52 x 74.33 x 7.89 mm, with a weight of 206 gms. The listing mentions 8GB + 128GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB+ 512GB configurations. It also shows a 50MP front camera and a 50MP + 50MP + 8MP rear camera setup.
The highlight is the 7,200mAh battery, which would be a sizeable increase over the Vivo V70’s 6,500mAh cell. This is another indication that this could be the Chinese version of the Vivo V80, as our previous report indicated the phone will launch with the same battery capacity. The listing also points to Android 17, although the exact software branding remains unconfirmed.
The processor is another clue. The Vivo V80 has previously appeared in a Geekbench listing with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, the same chipset used by its predecessor. That prototype had 8GB of RAM, although the China Telecom listing indicates that more memory configurations could be offered.
Vivo has already teased the V80 in India, promising AI camera features, improved low-light photography, the biggest battery in a V-series phone and a smooth display. Rumoured features include an AI Creative Camera mode with more than 30 effects and a Live Sticker Collage feature. For existing V-series users, particularly those on older models, the battery and camera upgrades could make the new phone more meaningful than a routine generation refresh.
The Vivo S2 FE is separately rumoured to launch globally as the Vivo V80 Lite. It could bring an even larger 10,000mAh battery with 44W charging, alongside a 6.84-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 7300e chipset, 50MP rear camera and 32MP front camera. That would give Vivo two different battery-focused propositions: the V80 for buyers seeking a more premium, camera-centric phone and the S2 FE/V80 Lite for those prioritising endurance at a lower price.
