Vivo T5 Lite 5G key specifications leaked: Dimensity 6300, 6,500mAh battery and more

Vivo could be adding a new smartphone to its T5 lineup. The Vivo T5 Lite 5G has surfaced online as a new budget smartphone. It would succeed last year’s Vivo T4 Lite, which launched as a budget-friendly 5G device. Ahead of its official debut, key specifications of the Vivo T5 Lite 5G have been leaked, revealing what we can expect from the upcoming smartphone.

The Vivo T5 Lite 5G is tipped to feature a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also said to offer up to 1,200 nits of High Brightness Mode (HBM), which should improve outdoor visibility. Under the hood, the Vivo T5 Lite 5G is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. The processor has already appeared in several budget 5G smartphones and has proven capable of handling everyday tasks, casual gaming, and multitasking with reasonable efficiency. The device will be available in three variants: 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 6GB + 256GB.

The biggest talking point, however, may be its large 6,500mAh battery paired with 44W FlashCharge support. If accurate, the T5 Lite would offer a larger battery than many rivals in the segment while maintaining a relatively slim 8.39mm profile and a weight of 209 grams. It would also be an upgrade over the T4 Lite’s 6,000mAh battery and 15W charging support.

For photography, the handset is said to feature a 50MP primary rear camera alongside a 5MP front-facing shooter. An IP65 rating is also specified, protecting against dust and water splashes. The Vivo T5 Lite 5G is expected to launch in Twilight Shadow and Wave Blue colour options.

Based on the leaked specifications, the T5 Lite 5G may not aim to redefine the affordable smartphone experience through raw performance. Instead, it appears to focus on practical strengths: long battery life, a smooth display, fast charging, and durability. With the ongoing price hike, finding a capable 5G smartphone in the budget segment has already become expensive. The Vivo T5 Lite could be a good option if pricing is done right.

Buyers prioritising endurance and everyday usability over benchmark numbers may find it worth keeping an eye on once pricing is officially announced. If you’re currently on an older 4G device and battery life is paramount, this could be a strong contender, but hold off until the price is revealed to compare value.
