The listing also reveals an interesting fact. The Vivo V29 Lite 5G and the Vivo Y78 5G share the model number, which could mean that both devices will be more or less the same, and Vivo might name them differently in different regions. Nevertheless, let’s take a look at the listing for now.
Vivo V29 Lite 5G visits Google Supported Devices list
As seen in the screenshots above, the Vivo V29 Lite 5G (with the model number Vivo V2244) has recently been listed on the Google Supported Devices list, which hints that its launch might be imminent. Alongside the Vivo V29 Lite 5G, the Vivo Y78 5G has also been listed, which also has the same model number. So, as we mentioned earlier, there are chances more than likely that Vivo will introduce the Vivo Y78 5G in some regions (including India) and will launch the same device as the Vivo V29 Lite 5G in other regions. This should not come as a surprise, as rebranding and renaming the smartphones has become a common norm lately.
Sadly enough, we know little about the specifications and features of the Vivo V29 Lite 5G for now, but it is safe to assume that the device will focus heavily on design and photography/videography, since it will be positioned as a Vivo V-series smartphone. And, right after the Google Supported Devices listing, we have noticed devices to often get listed on the Google Play Console listing as well, which reveals their key specifications. So, keep visiting for more updates on the same.
