Vivo V29 series release date, expected price in India, specs, and everything we know so far

The Vivo V29 series will launch in India early next month. The lineup is expected to include two models: Vivo V29 and Vivo V29 Pro. The brand has been teasing the phones actively on its social media handles and there is a dedicated microsite on the Vivo India website, which shows the complete design and some hardware details. The phones come as successors to the Vivo V27 lineup.v28v2

The Vivo V29 and Vivo V29 Pro will launch in India on October 4th at 12 noon IST. The handset will be sold via Flipkart, Vivo e-store and probably offline stores across the country.

While the exact prices of each variant are not leaked at the moment, recent reports have suggested the Vivo V29 series will reportedly be priced under Rs 40,000 in the country. This probably also includes the high-end Vivo V29 Pro.

The Vivo V29 series will come in three colour options: Himalayan Blue, Majestic Red, and Space Black.

Vivo V29 series design

The Vivo V29 lineup will have 3D curved edges on the sides (probably only the Pro version), narrow bezels, and a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter.

The back panel of the phone has a unique gradient design and is apparently India’s first 3D Particle Technology design.
We can see a large rectangular module on the back panel and this houses two large camera sensors, a regular lens, an LED flash, and an Aura Light ring.

Display: The Vivo V29 5G flaunts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper.
Processor: The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G paired with Adreno GPU.
RAM and storage: Vivo V29 5G is available in 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB storage variants.
Software: The Vivo V29 5G runs on Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13.
Cameras: The handset has a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP monochrome sensor. There is a 50MP front camera for selfies and video chats.
Battery: The Vivo V29 5G packs a 4,600mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
The ‘Smart Aura Light’ is claimed to adjust lighting from 1800K (warm) to 4500K (cool).
