Vivo X300 Max spotted at MWC 2026 as brand teases AI-powered imaging advancements
Vivo appears to be expanding its flagship lineup in 2026, moving beyond the Ultra model, which has been the most premium offering yet. After teasing the Vivo X300 Ultra at MWC 2026, it appears that another model was quietly displayed during the tech conference. It’s the Vivo X300 Max, a new model in the brand’s flagship lineup. The handset was reportedly spotted by WinFuture editor Roland Quandt, who shared images of it, calling the device Vivo X300 Max.
The smartphone is covered in a thick case, so you can’t see the design properly. But the large circular camera module with Zeiss branding is hard to miss. The Vivo X300 Max is also seen in a light green colour, which could be one of the options for the handset. One of the images also shows the phone’s model number, which is V2548A. The same model number recently showed up on China’s 3C certification database, suggesting it is indeed the Vivo X300 Max. The listing also confirmed 90W fast charging support for the handset.

This could be paired with a 7,000mAh battery on the Vivo X300 Max, which is a large capacity for a flagship phone. The Vivo X300 Max is also tipped to run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 SoC, the same chipset found on the X300 and X300 Pro. The handset is expected to feature a 6.78-inch flat LTPO 1.5K display with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
Cameras will be the Vivo X300 Max’s headlining feature, with leaks suggesting a 200MP primary sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with macro support, and a new Zeiss-branded lens system as well. More details include IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings for the Vivo X300 Max.

The emphasis on AI-powered imaging by Vivo reflects a growing industry trend where computational photography is becoming as crucial as hardware.
