The Vivo Y1s and Vivo Y12s budget smartphones have received a price hike in India. If you have been planning on purchasing these devices, then you’ll have to shell a little extra starting today. Vivo has increased the prices for these phones by Rs 500, according to our retail sources. The new pricing should be applicable to both online and offline purchases. Both these phones are powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 processor and offer up to 32GB of internal storage. Additionally, the Vivo Y1s now comes in a new 3GB RAM variant.

Vivo Y1s and Y12s prices in India increased

Vivo Y1s is a budget smartphone that was originally priced at Rs 7,990 in India for the base variant with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. This model will now cost Rs 8,490. Vivo seems to have also launched a new 3GB RAM variant of the Y1s, which will be sold at Rs 9,490.

On the other hand, the Vivo Y12s, which was sold in India at Rs 9,990, will now be available for purchase at Rs 10,490. This phone is offered with 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard memory.

Vivo Y1s and Y12s specifications

Both the Vivo Y1s and Y12s are budget offerings from the manufacturer with a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset at the heart. The Y1s is the cheaper device and comes with a 6.22-inch HD+ display that has a waterdrop notch. It gets up to 3GB RAM and 32GB storage while running Android 10 based Funtouch OS 10.5. The phone features a single 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie unit. It houses a 4,030mAh battery that offers no fast charging support. 

Coming to the Vivo Y12s, this phone has a 6.51-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and waterdrop notch. It features a dual rear camera setup with a primary 13-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel depth unit. At the front, there’s an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The device gets a 5,000mAh battery and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
