Xiaomi 14 Civi India launch date announced

Xiaomi 14 Civi India launch date is scheduled for June 12th. The announcement also confirms the smartphone’s moniker which is a different one for the Indian market. Although a new name, the Xiaomi 14 Civi is a rebrand of the Civi 4 Pro that launched in China recently.

Xiaomi 14 Civi would join the flagship Xiaomi 14 lineup but it’s expected to be a more affordable variant. This is based on the official information revealed by Xiaomi confirming that the handset is indeed the Civi 4 Pro arriving here under a different moniker. This is the latest smartphone from the Civi lineup in China. With the Xiaomi 14 Civi, the brand would be targeting the flagship alternative segment where it’s expected to compete with phones like the OnePlus 12R and iQOO 12.

There’s no word on the Xiaomi 14 Civi India pricing yet but for reference, the Civi 4 Pro starts at CNY 2,999 (Rs 35,100 approx) for the base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. We can expect the Xiaomi 14 Civi to cost around the same in India as well.

As far as the Xiaomi 14 Civi specifications are concerned, here’s what has been officially revealed.

Display: Xiaomi 14 Civi will feature a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on top for protection.
Processor: The smartphone will be powered by the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. It could launch with up to 12GB of LPPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0.
Cameras: The Xiaomi 14 Civi will house a 50MP primary camera with a Leica Summilux lens, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP telephoto lens on the back. Up front, it will come with two 32MP front cameras with an ultra-wide lens.
Battery, charging: The smartphone is confirmed to pack a 4,700mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
Software: On the software front, the smartphone will run Xiaomi HyperOS with Android 14.
