Good Mobile at this Price Range... By Aastha Sharma on 25 Sep, 2014
The Lava Iris 404 Flair is Lava’s attempt at making a stylish phone for the budget end of the market.nnDesignnLava has gone all guns blazing into the design department. The phone looks very classy and premium thanks to the metallic that ooz... es quality. I am pretty sure no one would be able to guess the actual price of the phone by looking at it. The build quality also seems to be top class.nnHardware and SoftwarenThe hardware of the phone is pretty average by today’s standards. It has a 1.3 GHz dual core processor and 512 mb of RAM. This may make the phone seem a little under powered. But thankfully, The Android 4.4 Kitkat OS of the phone is designed to run on low end hardware. The interface is quite smooth with minimal lag. The battery of the phone is a 1400 mAh unit, but since the new OS is so efficient, the phone can last a pretty decently long time.nnDisplaynThe phone has a 4 inch display with a resolution of 480x800. The screen is almost perfectly sized as I do not like the new trend of huge phone that don’t even fit your trousers comfortably. I think that a 4 inch screen for more than sufficient for almost anything. The colors are pretty reasonable and viewing angles are decent.nnCameranThe phone comes with a 5 mp primary camera with flash. The images are pretty crisp and detail is good. Macro photography is possible with the phone although you will need an app like Camera 360 to pull it off. The Iris 404 Flair records HD video which is great. There is also a front facing VGA camera that can be used for selfies and for video chatting.nnConclusionnThe Lava Iris 404 Flair is very good looking phone at a very low price that will surely entice buyers looking for a premium looking handset that won’t make them broke.
