OPPO is gearing up to launch its flagship phones, the Find X9 series. It has officially revealed the Find X9 design, confirming a major shift from the previous model. The OPPO Find X9 series has moved from the circular camera deco to a smaller square-shaped design, similar to the OnePlus 15. It looks quite like the OPPO Reno 14 lineup, which might seem confusing, as the circular design distinguishes it as a flagship model.
The flagship series will include two phones: OPPO Find X9 and Find X9 Pro. Design-wise, both phones share a similar look with a triple camera setup on the back. The key difference lies in the LED flash: the Find X9 features a ring-shaped flash within the camera module, while the Pro model sports a pill-shaped flash positioned outside the camera island. The overall look is a square-shaped camera deco tucked in the top-left corner of the phone. This is quite minimalist in comparison to the circular design, which clearly made the Find X8 series stand out.

Design is always subjective, and the new look does give the phone a sleek finish, which might be appreciated by many. Especially the ‘Chasing Light Red’ colourway, which is an almost wine-red or burgundy-pink finish. The metal frame and the camera module housing also feature this rich, deep hue. In addition to this colour, the OPPO Find X9 series will also be available in Frosty White and Silver Titanium. The standard Find X9 will also come in a Fog Black option.

In terms of specifications, the OPPO Find X9 series is confirmed to feature a 200MP periscope camera and a 50MP Hasselblad LYT-828 main camera with the capability to produce 4K live photos and 8K photos. Both phones will also feature slim 1.15mm bezels around the screen. The OPPO Find X9 series is also confirmed to launch with the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset
Leaks suggest the OPPO Find X9 will feature a 6.59-inch display, while the Pro variant will come with a larger 6.78-inch screen. Both screens will support 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. The phones reportedly pack 7,025mAh and 7,500mAh batteries, respectively, and support 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The Oppo Find X9 series will debut on October 16th in China, and run the latest ColorOS 16 out of the box. Both phones are expected to arrive in India soon after.
