Featuring Soumitra Chatterjee and Swatilekha Sengupta as an elderly couple celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary, the movie was directed by Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy. The acting in "Belaseshe" is outstanding, with Chatterjee and Sengupta portraying a couple who struggle with suppressed feelings and unmet wants in subtle and emotional ways. The spectator is completely drawn into their path of self-reflection and discovery because of their undeniable connection. The plot of the movie, which covers themes of love, sacrifice, independence, and societal expectations, is what makes it so strong and thought-provoking. It questions established conventions and highlights the value of transparency and comprehension in relationships. The delicate and moving directing lets the story's emotional moments stand out. The exquisite conversation gives the characters' internal struggles and aspirations more dimension.
