Rotten TomatoesThis is a great women's hockey movie. It will give you a patriotic feeling, for sure. The story is about a former hockey player named Kabir Khan who was alleged to have let the other team win, which was not true. Because of that, he has to suffer much social discrimination, defamation, and injustice. He had a dream to get a gold medal for India in a hockey competition. He inspires several women to play as a team from different states of India, and India won the game and the gold. It shows a beautiful story of different women coming from different states with different personalities and a different kind of technique to play hockey, but Kabir Khan manages to bring them together in a team, which was a tough and beautiful journey at the same time. It's a hands down it's very nice movie with a great plot and a strong storyline. It's a must watch.

This film sparked a national resurgence of interest in the sport. Within days of the film's appearance, sales of hockey sticks shot up by 30%.
This film is based on the real life of legendary hockey player Mirranjan Negi.
The girls in the cast were trained in a 3-4 month hockey camp so that the game play doesn't look artificial in the movie.
Writer Jaideep Sahni got the idea for the script when he was flicking through a newspaper and a small story about a women's hockey team caught his eye.
The title literally translates into "Come on, India!"
"Kabir Khan: [to Bindya] There's only room for one bully on this team! And that bully is me."
"Kabir Khan: She is only fainted! Not DEAD... Get her out of the field... [with disbelief]"
