Realme is finally gearing up for the launch of its ultra-flagship Realme GT 2 Pro in India. After launching it in China, rumour mill kept suggesting the launch of the Realme GT 2 series in India and in other markets, and it looks like the brand is soon going to unveil the device. Realme has started teasing the arrival of the Realme GT 2 Pro in the country and, in all likelihood, the device will make its way to India soon after the launch of the Realme 9 Pro series. Realme GT 2 Pro India launch officially teased
Madhav Sheth, VP of Realme, took to Twitter to confirm the Realme GT 2 Pro India launch. The tweet mentions the Realme GT 2 Pro only and not the vanilla Realme GT 2. So, we cannot say for sure whether the brand will unveil the Realme GT 2 alongside its Pro sibling. According to Sheth, the Realme GT 2 Pro will feature “the best flat display among all Android phones.”
It has been a usual norm lately for smartphone brands to tease their top-of-the-line variant and launch the series in its entirety, so we can keep our hopes high that the vanilla Realme GT 2 will also make its way to India alongside the Realme GT 2 Pro. As of now, there is no mention of an actual launch date, but we are sure to receive more intel on the same in the coming days.
Realme GT 2 Pro specifications
The Realme GT 2 Pro features a large 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate display, up to 1400 nits brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Under the hood, the device is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, which is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS3.1 storage.
On the software front, the Realme GT 2 Pro runs the latest Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 out of the box. For photography, the device has a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP ultra macro camera. At the front, the device features a 32MP selfie shooter.
