The new Acer projectors come with enhanced brightness of 4000 ANSI lumens from its laser/LED hybrid light source. There is a 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, HDR10/HLG compatible and can produce a larger spectrum of colours and brightness accuracy through four available modes to accommodate different types of content.
The HL6810ATV comes with an Acer-exclusive Android TV embedded dongle design, which gives the user access to smart home features at their fingertips. It supports streaming applications like Netflix and YouTube. The smart projector can be controlled using voice-activated prompts, thanks to a dedicated remote or a smartphone.
Acer claims the projectors offer long-lasting brightness consistency with up to a 30,000-hour lifespan. Their hybrid light source is also 100 percent mercury-free and the devices incorporate post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic in their chassis and recycled paper for packaging.
The Acer HL6810ATV and HL6810A are IP5X-rated to protect against potential damage and there is Acer BlueLight Shield technology. There is an HDMI 2.0 port for users to connect external speakers and amplifiers. The projectors offer Blu-ray 3D support. There is a power saving mode and the instant-on-off features minimise power usage when using the different modes or when left idle.
