Update: Amazon seems to have changed the dates for its upcoming Great Freedom Festival sale. Earlier, the e-commerce platform had revealed the dates to be between August 5th to August 9th. The sale will now take place between August 4th to August 8th. This is likely due to Flipkart having its own Big Saving Days sale between August 4th to 9th.

Amazon recently held one of its biggest sales of the year, Prime Day. The e-commerce platform is coming back soon with another big sale in India in August. This one is the Amazon Great Freedom Festival and it’s slated to take place later this week. During this sale, you can expect to see smartphones and other electronic products with discounts and various offers.
Amazon Great Freedom Festival 2023 sale date details
The Amazon Great Freedom Festival sale is scheduled to start on August 5th, and it will continue until August 9th. The sale will start a day early on August 4th at 12 noon for Amazon Prime members. In India, Amazon Prime starts at Rs 299 per month, Rs 599 for three months, and Rs 1,499 for 12 months. There’s a Prime Lite membership as well, and it’s priced at Rs 999 for 12 months.
Amazon Great Freedom Festival offers and deals
- Amazon is yet to reveal all the deals and offers for its upcoming Great Freedom Festival but it is giving us a sneak peek ahead of the sale. For starters, there’s an instant 10 percent discount for SBI credit card holders, and on EMI transactions.
- Amazon will also offer blockbuster deals, grand opening deals, deals from 8 pm until midnight, deals under Rs 999, and cashback rewards up to Rs 5,000.
- Among the various product categories, headphones, smartwatches, and more devices will be available at a starting price of Rs 99.
- Smartphones and accessories will start at Rs 5,999 during the Amazon Great Freedom Festival. You can also avail exchange offers, no-cost EMI options, and discount coupons on smartphones.
- It has so far revealed the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G and Realme Narzo N53 will be available at discounted prices during the sale. The Samsung Galaxy M04 is also revealed to cost Rs 6,999 as part of the sale.
- Amazon has also revealed that smart TVs and appliances will be available with up to 65 percent off.
