New Apple Beats Pill speaker launching soon
- Shortly after a new Beats Pill speaker passed through the US FCC, the device has now been spotted on NCC suggesting an imminent launch. This is the same speaker as it carries the model number A3211 as spotted on FCC. These certification listings confirm the device is in the works, and are required for the brand to launch it.
- Through the NCC listing, we get a good look at the Beats Pill speaker’s design. It carries the same pill-shaped design as the previous models with the ‘Beats’ branding visible up front.
- The entire front panel is covered with the speaker while the controls sit on top. The USB Type-C port is also visible at the back of the Bluetooth speaker. The NCC listing confirms the speaker will come with a USB Type-C to Type-C cable for charging.
- There’s also a lanyard hole on the side of the Beats Pill speaker.
Rumours around a possible new Beats Pill speaker started when Basketball star LeBron James and F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo were spotted with a Beats speaker. Shortly after, it was spotted in the iOS 17.5 RC (Release Candidate) files with the design and colour options revealed here. The new Beats Pill speaker will come in Black, Gold, and Red colours. It is also confirmed to feature four physical buttons.
