However, tipster Max Weinbach on Twitter stated that Apple could announce the iPhone 14 series on September 6th, the second Tuesday of September, and the sales will start on September 16th without delay. Last year, Apple announced the iPhone 13 series on September 14th, the second Tuesday of September. Pre-orders started on September 17th, and sales began on September 24th. There was a ten days' gap between the launch event and the sale date last year, and the tip suggests the same will happen this year.

This year's Apple eve won't be a live event, and possibly Apple has already started recording it.

What to expect from new iPhones

This year, we'll see four iPhones: iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. For those unaware, iPhone 13 Mini was the last iPhone Mini from apple, and this year's lineup won't include a Mini variant. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max are said to get a souped-up version of the iPhone 13 Pro Max's A15 chip, while the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will feature the latest A16 chip.
