The prices and availability of the new ASUS ROG products will vary based on region.
ASUS has also introduced the first 18-inch ROG Nebula HDR display, courtesy of 2024 Strix SCAR 16 and SCAR 18. Both models feature upgraded Mini LED panels boasting over 2000 discrete dimming zones and 1,100 nits of peak brightness. The Nebula HDR Engine minimises blooming and haloing even in challenging scenes. This is claimed to give the Strix SCAR 16 and SCAR 18 vivid HDR performance.
The HDR displays come with a 2.5K 240Hz refresh rate panel with a less than 3ms grey-to-grey response time. The panels have an extra tall 16:10 aspect ratio and 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 colour space. The new Strix Scar models are powered by the Intel Core i9 processor 14900HX paired with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU. The chipset is paired with up to 32GB DDR5 RAM and 2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD storage. As the names suggest, these feature 16-inch and 18-inch display sizes.
ASUS says that it has designed the ROG NUC in a way to make it easy to pop in the desired RAM and storage devices inside and out. The chassis opens with an easy mechanism, and the M.2 slots use the M.2 Q-Latch system so that you can easily secure or remove drives without the need for a screwdriver.
There is an RGB LED illuminated ROG logo that gives you an easy way to customise the look of the ROG NUC, and it's Aura Sync-ready. This allows you to synchronise the lighting with the rest of your compatible gear.
The ASUS ROG NUC is powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU. There are three PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots and it supports up to 64GB DDR5-5600 RAM in its two SO-DIMM slots. Ports on board include an HDMI 2.1a port, two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, and a Thunderbolt 4 US Type-C port.
The complete prices of each model should be revealed closer to their launch and will depend on the region.
