Evtric Motors, a Pune-based EV startup has just launched its first electric motorcycle, the Evtric Rise, in India. The ‘Make in India’ product will sit as a high-speed premium electric motorcycle and will cater to urban buyers. Evtric Motors already has three electric scooters on offer which are the Evtric Axis, Evtric Ride and Evtric Mighty. The company aims to position this offering for buyers looking for a more committed riding stance of a motorcycle as compared to a scooter and also want to enjoy the low-end performance and financial benefits of an electric powertrain.
Evtric Rise price and availability
The Evtric Rise premium electric bike has been priced at Rs 1,59,000 (ex-showroom) before subsidies. The Evtric Rise will be available at 125 touchpoints across 22 cities. The company has started taking bookings for a token amount of Rs 5,000. The bike will be available in Red and Black colour options.
Evtric Rise specifications
The Evrtic Rise premium electric bike is powered by a 2kW BLDC motor and is paired to a 70v/40ah lithium-ion battery. This powertrain is capable of propelling the electric bike to a top speed of 70kmph while delivering a range of 110km on a single charge. The battery pack on the Evtric Rise electric bike takes about 4 hours to recharge. The 10A charger gets a safety net of an auto cut feature that allows the bike to charge safely.

The Evtric Rise gets modern-day goodies such as LED front lighting with DRLs and a sporty-looking design to appeal to the masses.
