However, the colour options and hardware specifications of the device were a mystery. But now, ahead of its imminent global launch, we exclusively bring you its missing details, once again, courtesy of leaker Sudhanshu Ambhore. Here’s everything you need to know about the Redmi 13 4G.
Redmi 13 4G colour options, expected price
Earlier, we saw the Redmi 13 4G in two shades: black and blue, through leaked renders. We’ve now learned that the device will come in two more colour options: yellow and pink. In total, you will get four colour options with the Redmi 13 4G: blue, pink, yellow, and black.
As previously revealed, the Redmi 13 4G will ship in two storage options. The base 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant will retail for EUR 199 (Approx. Rs 18,000), while the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage model will cost EUR 229 (Approx. Rs 21,000).
Redmi 13 4G specifications: what are the upgrades?
- Display: The Redmi 13 4G will sport a 6.79-inch FHD+ LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. When compared to its predecessor, the Redmi 12, we don’t see any upgrades in the display department.
- Processor: According to the leaker, the device will feature a MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra SoC at the helm alongside the Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. This means we will see a significant performance boost when compared to its predecessor’s MediaTek Helip G88 SoC.
- RAM/Storage: The device will ship with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB//256GB storage, expandable up to 1TB via microSD card, the same that we get with the Redmi 12.
- Battery: Powering the smartphone will be a 5,030mAh battery with support for 33W charging. It’s slightly better than the Redmi 12’s 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support.
- Camera: The tipster says that the Redmi 13 4G will house a dual-camera setup at the rear, featuring a 108MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary shooter. It will flaunt a 13MP snapper at the front for selfies and video chats. It will offer a considerable improvement over Redmi 12’s 50MP primary camera and 8MP selfie snapper.
- OS: It will run on Android 14-based HyperOS out of the box.
- Security and other features: The Redmi 13 4G will house an IR port and side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. It will feature Bluetooth 5.0, Wifi 5 GHz, and support IP53 dust and water resistance, but you won’t be able to take it into a swimming pool.
