Vivo X Fold 3 Pro India launch date announced

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is launching in India on June 6th. This is the same date that was accidentally revealed earlier. Vivo started teasing the foldable earlier this month in India. It has also been confirmed that the Vivo X Fold 3 will be available on Flipkart.

Vivo has teased the X Fold 3 to arrive as the slimmest and lightest foldable in India. It measures 11.2mm folded and weighs 236 grams. In comparison to its possible rival, the OnePlus Open, this foldable measures 11.7mm thick when folded. It’s also thinner than the Galaxy Z Fold 5 which measures 13.4mm. 

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is also touted to offer the biggest and brightest display on a foldable. It has an 8.03-inch primary display with 4,500 nits peak brightness. Vivo has also teased its partnership with Zeiss for the X Fold 3 Pro’s cameras. In terms of durability, the X Fold 3 Pro is claimed to be TUV Rheinland-certified for 500,000 folds. It also has a Carbon Fiber ultra-durable hinge mechanism. 

AI-powered foldable

Vivo has also confirmed the X Fold 3 Pro will be powered by Google’s Gemini AI, the first to come with this feature. When launched, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will come with AI Note Assist, AI Transcript Assist, and AI Screen translation.

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro debuted in March this year in China. It launched alongside the regular X Fold 3. It’s a powerful foldable featuring the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, up to 16GB RAM, and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. It’s the only foldable to feature the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The X Fold 3 Pro also has a triple camera setup with two 50MP sensors and a 64MP telephoto lens.
