October is going to be an exciting month for new games. Highly-anticipated titles like Gotham Knights, Scorn, Bayonetta 3, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and others are launching in October 2022. Besides these, some popular games are coming to previously unreleased platforms including Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection to PC and Persona 5 Royal to PC, PS5, Xbox series X|S, Xbox One, and Switch. Dying Light 2 Stay Human is also getting Bloody Ties DLC on October 13th, which will bring some new content to the game. Here are all the new games releasing in October 2022:

Overwatch 2 – October 4
After several years of development, Blizzard is set to launch Overwatch 2. Overwatch 2 will be launching in early access with its free-to-play PvP element. The game will get PvE content sometime in 2023. A major change in Overwatch 2 will be its 5v5 structure instead of the original’s 6v6. This will allow only one tank on each team and tanks have been reworked to make them even stronger. Besides these, Overwatch 2 will bring new game modes, heroes, and maps at launch and get new content frequently.

Gotham Knights – October 21
Gotham Knights is the next game in the Batman series, which puts players in a much different world. Batman has died and it’s up to heroes like Batgirl, Red Hood, Nightwing, and Robin to protect Gotham from criminals. Just like the previous Batman games, Gotham Knights is an open-world action RPG that is set in Gotham City. Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin will all be playable characters in the game and you can use their skills to take down gang members and other criminals in the city.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 – October 28
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 brings a brand-new campaign and reintroduces the Special Ops mode. Besides these, there will be new multiplayer modes including Prisoner Rescue, Knockout, and Invasion (Ground War). Modern Warfare 2 will also feature a new co-op mode called Raids, which blends together puzzle solving with COD-style of action. To improve the combat experience even further, the game will introduce tactical equipment and field upgrades such as shock stick, tactical camera, DDoS, drill charge, perk packages, inflatable decoy, and more.
