Honor Watch GS 4 with 1.43-inch display launched in China alongside Honor Band 9: price, features

Honor has unveiled the Watch GS 4 alongside the Honor Band 9 in China. It’s important to mention that these wearables were launched at the Magic 6 Ultimate Edition and Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design smartphones launch event.

While the Honor Watch GS 4 flaunts a 1.43-inch AMOLED circular display, the Honor Band 9 comes with a 1.57-inch AMOLED display. Here are the complete features and prices of the newly announced Watch GS 4 and Band 9.

HONOR Watch GS 4, Honor Band 9 price

The Honor Watch GS 4 has been launched in three colours – Galaxy Shuttle, Jasper Astrolabe and Starry Sky Exploration. It is priced at CNY 999 (approx Rs 11,755) for Galaxy Shuttle and CNY 1,199 (around Rs 14,108) for Jasper Astrolabe and Starry Sky Exploration variants.

On the other hand, the Honor Band 9 comes in two variants – with and without NFC. The non-NFC variant can be availed for CNY 249 (around Rs 2,929), and the NFC variant is offered for CNY 299 (approx Rs 3,517). They can be availed in Black, Blue, and Purple colours.

The Honor Watch GS 4 features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with customisable watch faces and a 466 x 466 resolution. It can track blood oxygen levels, heart rate, sleep patterns, and stress levels. With over 100 sports modes, it lets users track their fitness activities.

This smartwatch features a speaker and microphone for calls and voice commands and offers 4GB RAM and 32MB of internal storage. It boasts a battery life of up to 14 days and supports fast charging, providing a day’s power in just 5 minutes. With GPS usage, the battery can last up to 30 hours.

The Honor Watch GS 4 can withstand water immersion up to 50 meters with a water resistance rating of 5ATM. It is also equipped with various sensors, including an accelerometer, gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, heart rate sensor, and more.

It is compatible with Android 9.0 and iOS 11.0 or later operating systems and offers smart features such as camera controls, weather updates, and WeChat Pay integration. Connectivity options include Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, and dual-frequency GPS.

Honor Band 9

The all-new Honor Band 9 features a 1.57-inch AMOLED 60Hz display with several watch faces. It can track your heart rate, blood oxygen (Sp02), and sleep patterns. It also offers more than 96 sports modes that let users track their workouts and activities.

The fitness band comes with a battery life of up to 14 days with NFC enabled and up to 10 days without NFC usage. As per the company, the charging is done via a magnetic thimble charging port.

With a water resistance rating of 5ATM, the Honor Band 9 can withstand water immersion up to 50 meters. It also comes equipped with sensors, including an accelerometer, gyro sensor, heart rate sensor and more.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth LE v5.3 and NFC for wireless communication and payments.  Additionally, the Band 9 is compatible with Android 9.0 and iOS 11.0 or later operating systems. It offers smart features such as camera controls, weather updates, and more.
