Steps to update SBI KYC online through internet banking
Step 1: Head over to SBI’s online banking portal and select ‘Continue to login‘
Step 2: On the next screen, enter your username and password along with the captcha and hit ‘Login‘. New users can register themselves for SBI internet banking through this screen itself
Step 3: After logging in, go to the ‘My Accounts & Profile‘ section and select ‘Update KYC‘
Step 4: Proceed to submit missing or required documents for KYC updation as instructed on the next screen
Steps to update SBI KYC through YONO app
The SBI bank account holders can also use the YONO app to update KYC details. Here’s how.
Step 1: Download the SBI YONO app from the Google Play Store or App Store, if you haven’t already
Step 2: Now open the app and log in by clicking on ‘Register Now‘. You will be asked to sign in through mobile number. New users can sign up from the startup page
Step 3: After logging in, go to the ‘Service Request‘ section from the menu on the top left corner.
Step 4: Now select the ‘Update KYC‘ icon
Step 5: Enter the app password to proceed
Step 6: Now from the given options, select ‘Update KYC address details‘
Step 7: Proceed to fill in the required details and submit
Step 8: Enter the OTP sent on the registered mobile number to submit the updation request
How to update KYC if previously submitted details are not updated
In case the previously submitted KYC details do not reflect on the SBI user’s bank account, they can visit their nearby branch and submit a self-declaration form to speed up the process. This is the Annexure A form which can be found and downloaded from the State Bank of India’s website.
