The iPad mini was launched at Rs 46,900 in 2021, while the iPad Air premiered at Rs 54,900.
For the iPad mini, launched in 2021, the 64GB storage model of the Wi-Fi only variant is now priced at Rs 49,900, up by from Rs 3,000 from its launch price of Rs 46,900. The LTE version of the tablet, with 64GB storage, now costs Rs 64,900 — up from its launch price of Rs 60,900 in India.
A similar price hike is there on the iPad Air as well, which is now selling at Rs 59,900 for the 64GB, Wi-Fi variant. The tablet was launched in India in March this year, at Rs 54,900. The LTE variant, with the same amount of storage, is now priced at Rs 74,900 — up from Rs 68,900 at launch time.
Both the iPad models get 12MP cameras, both to the front and rear, with Apple's Center Stage feature embedded into the front camera — which automatically centres a user's face when in a video call. The iPad mini (2021) features an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display, while the iPad Air (2022) features a 10.9-inch one.
Apple has also launched a new generation of its entry level iPad, which also offers a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display, and is priced onward of Rs 44,900. Apple has a flat festive discount offer applicable on all its devices, amounting to Rs 7,000, for a limited period.
