iPhone 14 has gone on sale for Rs 66,799 in the Amazon Prime Day sale. The iPhone 14 was launched at Rs 79,900 for the base model in September last year. However, it was retailing at Rs 70,999 on Amazon before the sale, while the Apple store mostly sells it at full price.

SBI and ICICI bank customers can avail an extra discount of up to Rs 1,000 on card transactions. There are also discounts of up to Rs 13,000 on the iPhone 14 Pro range, which includes the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, while the iPhone 14 Plus is surprisingly out of stock at the moment.

While the discount is certainly enticing, we do not think it is the best deal you can get for the vanilla model of the iPhone 14 series this year. As the launch of the next-generation iPhone 15 series inches closer, we should see a good price drop in sales next month, in August, near Independence Day, or during the Diwali festive season.

Historically, we’ve seen the iPhone 13 which started at the same starting price as the iPhone 14 go as low as Rs 49,990 during Flipkart Big Billion Day sale in September last year. It would be wise to wait for greater discounts and ensure that you grab the best deal.
