- The launch was initially planned for December 2nd, but has been delayed because of reasons unknown.
- iQOO, however, has now revealed the battery and the fast charging capabilities of the iQOO 11 Pro.
iQOO had initially planned on launching its latest flagship iQOO 11 series of smartphones in China on December 2nd, 2022. The launch plans, however, seem to have changed, as iQOO yesterday announced that the launch of the iQOO 11 lineup, consisting of the vanilla iQOO 11 and the iQOO 11 Pro, had indefinitely been postponed. Not just the iQOO 11 series, the launch of the Xiaomi 13 series (initially planned for December 1st) has also been postponed until further notice. Though the reason behind both brands delaying their launches has not officially been revealed, there is a possibility that it would have come as a mark of respect for the death of the country’s former president Jiang Zemin.
That said, iQOO has still been teasing the specifications and features of the upcoming iQOO 11 lineup, and in the latest turn of events, the brand has revealed the battery capacity and the fast charging capacity of the iQOO 11 Pro. Let’s take a look.
iQOO 11 Pro 200W fast charging
As seen in the promotional poster above, the iQOO 11 Pro will feature a 4,700mAh battery with support for a whopping 200W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port. The teaser poster also showcases the device’s curved display, the bottom-firing speaker grille, and an antenna lining, thereby confirming that the iQOO 11 Pro will feature a metal frame. The vanilla iQOO 11 will likely feature 120W fast charging support.
iQOO 11 Pro specifications (expected)
The iQOO 11 Pro is said to feature a 6.78-inch 2K E6 AMOLED display with a whopping 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which will likely be paired with at least 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and at least 256GB UFS4.0 storage. In terms of cameras, the iQOO 11 Pro is expected to feature a 50MP + 50MP + 48MP + 64MP quad rear camera setup and a 32MP selfie snapper.
Coming to the battery of the device, the iQOO 11 Pro will sport a 4,700mAh cell with support for 200W fast charging. Lastly, the iQOO 11 Pro will boot the latest Android 13-based OriginOS skin out of the box.
