iQOO recently took the wraps off its flagship iQOO 11 series of smartphones in China, alongside the mid-range iQOO Neo 7 SE. The brand has now confirmed the Indian launch date of the lineup. According to a community post on the iQOO official community, the iQOO 11 series will launch in India on January 10th, 2023, and the first sale of the iQOO 11 and the iQOO 11 Pro will happen on January 13th, 2023. The forum post has also revealed the specifications of the Indian variants of the iQOO 11 lineup. Let’s take a look.
iQOO 11 series India launch date confirmed
As seen in the screenshots above, iQOO will launch the iQOO 11 and the iQOO 11 Pro in India on January 10th, 2023. So far, iQOO is the only brand which has confirmed the arrival of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered smartphones in the country, so unless some other brand decides to launch their flagship before January 10th, the iQOO 11 could very well be the first to launch in the country with the latest flagship Snapdragon chipset.
The iQOO 11 price at launch in China started at CNY 3,799 (Approx. Rs 44,900), while the iQOO 11 Pro price started at CNY 4,999 (Approx. Rs 59,200).
iQOO 11 series specifications
The Indian variant of the iQOO 11 will feature a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will come equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which will be coupled with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. The device will sport a 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. In terms of cameras, the iQOO 11 will house a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide angle camera, an 8MP macro camera, and a 16MP selfie camera.
Coming to the iQOO 11 Pro, the device will flaunt a 6.78-inch QHD+ curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Powering the device will be the latest flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. Coming to the cameras of the device, the iQOO 11 Pro will feature a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, a 13MP portrait camera, and a 16MP front camera.
