iQOO 11 series debuted in China on December 8th and included two models: the iQOO 11 and iQOO 11 Pro. These phones succeed the iQOO 10 series and bring some significant upgrades with regard to hardware specifications. The iQOO 11 5G is now set to launch in India on January 10th. This has been officially revealed by the brand. But it seems the pro model will not be tagging along. iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya told 91mobiles in an interview that the iQOO 11 Pro will not launch on January 10th. The phone could arrive at a later date, but there are no concrete plans yet.

The iQOO 11 comes with the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC and a V2 chip as well. The iQOO executive confirmed that it will be the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 phone in India. This suggests that the Xiaomi 13, which is also powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, will launch in India at a later stage. The iQOO flagship scored over 1.3 million on the AnTuTu benchmark site, which is a new record for a flagship phone. It also received a 3D Mark Wild Life Extreme test score of 3755, which is more than the Apple A16 Bionic chip (3312).

iQOO 11 specifications

The iQOO 11 flaunts a 6.78-inch AMOLED LTPO 4.0 display with 3200 x 1440 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+, 1-120Hz variable refresh rate, 1.07 billion colours, DCI-P3 colour gamut, up to 1800 nits brightness, and 1440Hz PWM dimming. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC coupled with Adreno GPU, up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The handset boots Android 13 with OriginOS custom skin out of the box and packs a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.

As for the cameras, the iQOO 11 has triple cameras on the back, with a 50MP primary Samsung GN5 sensor with f/1.88 aperture, OIS, LED flash, an 8MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 13MP 2x telephoto camera with f/2.46 aperture. There’s a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video calls.

The phone is equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, an infrared sensor, Hi-Fi audio, stereo speakers, and USB Type-C audio. Connectivity options include 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC.
