iQOO 13 specs leaked

  • iQOO 13 specifications were leaked on Weibo by Mobile China and Smart Pikachu. The leaks talk about the iQOO 13’s display, chipset, and battery details.
  • The iQOO 13 series will reportedly come in two variants including a Pro mode. The regular version is said to feature a 1.5K flat display. The iQOO 13 Pro will house a curved display with 2K resolution. 
  • iQOO is expected to source displays from Samsung and BOE for the iQOO 13 series. 
  • The iQOO 13 is also rumoured to house a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, Qualcomm’s next-gen flagship chipset. This suggests that the iQOO 13 won’t launch before October this year when the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 is expected 
  • Another upgrade rumoured for the iQOO 13 series is an increase in battery capacity and faster charging speeds. 

Based on the leaked information, the iQOO 13 series will offer upgrades in the chipset and battery department. We would be getting the same displays but it will be the next-gen flagship chipset from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This is the first we’re hearing about the iQOO 13 series and there’s still a long time till its launch so we should get to know more soon. 

For now, let’s take a look at the iQOO 12 specifications and what the current flagship offers. 

iQOO 12 specifications

iQOO 12 features a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with 2800 × 1260 pixels resolution, HDR10+, a 144Hz variable refresh rate, and up to 3000 nits peak brightness. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset aided by a dedicated Q1 chipset for an improved gaming experience and frame rates. 

It comes with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. iQOO 12 features a 50MP Omnivision OV50H primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide Samsung JN1 sensor, and a 64MP 3x telephoto camera. For selfies, it has a 16MP front camera. 

In India, iQOO 12 is priced at Rs 52,999 for the 12GB + 256GB version and Rs 57,999 for the 16GB + 512GB model.
