iQOO 15’s India price could be higher than iQOO 13, but buyers shouldn’t be disappointed
iQOO is prepping for the launch of its next flagship, the iQOO 15, in India. The company has confirmed that the iQOO 15 will launch on November 26th, and if early reports are anything to go by, it could be one of the most aggressively priced flagships in India this year. While most brands are expected to push their top-end phones past the Rs 65,000 mark, iQOO seems to be set on making the iQOO 15 most affordable Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 smartphone in the country.
According to reports, the iQOO 15 India price is expected to be around Rs 60,000, including launch offers. That means the exact price will be somewhat higher, but still below competing flagships like the OnePlus 15, tipped to cost north of Rs 65,000. Interestingly, the 15’s predecessor, the iQOO 13, launched at Rs 54,999, and with the expected hike, the brand seems to be inching further up the premium ladder. However, this price bump is not just a ploy on iQOO’s part for premium positioning, but also reflects some meaningful upgrades. The iQOO 15 will debut with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a brand-new Samsung 2K M14 OLED display. Upgrades include a larger 7,000mAh battery supported by an 8,000 sq mm vapour chamber which iQOO claims is its largest cooling system to date – a combination clearly targeted at gamers and power users. The company has also announced a new in-house-developed Game Livestreaming Assistant, which might appeal to mobile streamers and e-sports players.
The camera arrangement consists of three 50MP sensors for standard, ultra-wide, and telephoto. Software support has also been extended to five years of OS updates and seven years of security patches. Compared to the iQOO 13, the new model promises not just faster hardware but a more refined display, larger battery, and longer update cycle – all of which make it feel like a more mature flagship experience.
In an industry where flagship pricing continues to climb, setting the iQOO 15 around Rs 60,000 will position the phone as a “value flagship” that rivals may not be able to easily undercut.
