iQOO 9 specifications are still under wraps but a new tip suggests the phone's battery will be bigger than the one on the iQOO 7.

According to Digital Chat Station, the upcoming iQOO 9 will have a dual-cell battery technology with two batteries each capacity of 2,155mAh and a combined capacity of 4310mAh (which should be marketed as 4400mAh). That's 400mAh bigger than its predecessors. Furthermore, the tipster claims the iQOO 9 launch will take place in the second half of 2021 and the phone may support over 100W fast charging. since the iQOO 7 supports 120W fast charging, it is speculated that the iQOO 9 will use the same solution. Unfortunately, not much else is known about iQOO 9 specifications at the moment.
To recall the iQOO 7 specifications, the handset flaunts a 6.62-inch FHD+ display with punch-hole cutout, 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+, and 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS3.1 storage under the hood. The phone runs on Android 11-based iQOO UI custom skin. The phone packs a 4,000mAh battery and supports 120W fast-charging. iQOO 7 packs a triple-camera setup at the back with a 48MP primary camera and a couple of 13MP sensors. On the front, it has a 16MP snapper for selfies and video calling. There is an in-display fingerprint scanner for security. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 6, 4G LTE, Dual-SIM support, Bluetooth v5.2, NFC, and Type-C port. The iQOO 7 measures 162.2mm x 75.8mm x 8.7mm and weighs 209.5 grams.
