iQOO could be working on a new Neo series smartphone in China. A new iQOO smartphone has appeared on the benchmarking website, Geekbench, which is believed to be the iQOO Neo 11S. The handset is also tipped to launch as a minor upgrade over last year’s iQOO Neo 11. The same handset has also appeared on China’s 3C certification database. The Neo 11S would be another option for buyers looking for a flagship-grade smartphone that sits just below the iQOO 15.

iQOO Neo 11S Geekbench details

The iQOO smartphone on Geekbench carries the model number Vivo V2545A. It will reportedly be called iQOO Neo 11S and launch as a minor upgrade over the iQOO Neo 11. The Geekbench data reveals a MediaTek MT6993 chipset, which is the MediaTek Dimensity 9500. The chipset is paired with Mali-G1-Ultra MC12 GPU and 16GB of RAM. In comparison to the Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered iQOO Neo 11, the Neo 11S would be faster in terms of performance. The Dimensity 9500, if implemented well, promises a significant leap in raw processing power, making the Neo 11S a formidable contender for mobile gamers.

This listing suggests iQOO is doubling down on raw performance, a smart move in a market hungry for gaming prowess.

The Geekbench listing also mentions Android 16, which is expected of the upcoming iQOO phone. The same handset is said to have appeared on China’s 3C certification website as well, with a 100W charger. This suggests the iQOO Neo 11S will come with 100W fast charging support, which is one of the fastest you can get, especially if the phone has a large battery.

Since the iQOO Neo 11S is expected to arrive as an upgrade over the Neo 11, we can expect better hardware. For context, the iQOO Neo 11 launched in China last October. The handset comes with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a 7,500mAh battery, a 50MP dual-camera system, and a 144Hz LTPO AMOLED display. The Neo 11S could bring a bigger battery and a more versatile camera setup as upgrades over the Neo 11.

Since there’s no official confirmation on the iQOO Neo 11S yet, it’s better to wait for more details. For now, the iQOO Neo 11S could be a good option for those looking for a flagship-grade smartphone with powerful specifications. We should still wait for more concrete information and see what the Neo 11S has to offer.
