The newest mid-range offering comes as a successor to the iQOO Z7 5G and brings some noteworthy improvements under the hood. The iQOO Z9 5G comes with an AMOLED display, a 120Hz refresh rate, Dimensity 7200 SoC, a 50MP primary camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging. iQOO Z9 5G price in India, sale date
iQOO Z9 5G is priced at Rs 19,999 for the 8GB/128GB model and Rs 21,999 for the 8GB/256B version. Buyers can avail a flat discount of Rs 2,000 via ICICI Bank or HDFC Bank Credit/Debit cards, bringing the effective price down to Rs 17,999 and Rs 19,999, respectively.
The iQOO Z9 5G will go on sale for Amazon Prime members on March 13th at 12 PM and for everyone else starting March 14th at 12 PM. The smartphone will be available in Brushed Green and Graphene Blue colour options.

The iQOO Z9 5G sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,800 nits peak brightness, 2400 × 1080 pixels resolution, 300Hz touch sampling rate, 91.90 percent screen-to-body ratio, and DT-Star2 Plus Glass protection.
The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC paired with ARM Mali-G610. There is 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 2.2 storage, which is further expandable via a microSD card for memory expansion. The handset runs on Android 14-based Funtouch 14 custom skin out of the box.
In terms of cameras, the iQOO Z9 features a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera with OIS, LED flash, f/1.79 and a 2MP bokeh camera. There is a 16MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.

iQOO Z9 will arrive as a follow-up to the iQOO Z7 in India. The display size has been bumped to 6.67 inches from 6.38 inches and the refresh rate is also now 120Hz instead of 90Hz. The iQOO Z9 also runs the latest Android 14 OS custom skin out of the box.
The iQOO Z9 comes with MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC, which is a notable upgrade from the MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC. The battery capacity is also bumped to 5000mAh from 4500mAh cell. The 64MP camera on the predecessor is now replaced with a 50MP unit.
