iQOO Z9 5G has started making multiple appearances online in recent times. The phone has received the BIS certification, suggesting the India launch could be imminent. Now, folks at MySmartPrice have spotted the iQOO Z9 5G on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. This reveals some key hardware details of the phone, including chipset, RAM, and OS version.
iQOO Z9 5G Geekbench details

- The phone has scored 1186 points in the single-core round and 2683 in the multi-core segment.
- The listing shows the iQOO Z9 5G will run on Android 14 OS out of the box and pack 8GB RAM, but other options could be at launch.
- The motherboard section mentions ‘k6886v1_64’, which could be associated with the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC with a peak clock speed of 2.80GHz.
- The listing contradicts earlier rumours, which said the iQOO phone would come with MediaTek Dimensity 8300 or Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC.
Earlier rumours suggested the phone would come with a 1.5K OLED display and a large 6,000mAh battery. Since it bagged the BIS certification, the phone’s India launch is definitely on the cards. The iQOO Z7 5G successor has even bagged the Bluetooth SIG certification and this revealed Bluetooth v5.3 connectivity.
