The new subscription plans, starting at Rs 29 for a month, will allow subscribers to enjoy ad-free premium content, including movies, series, children's shows and more, along with up to 4K quality and offline viewing options. However, it is worth noting that it will be limited to only one screen.
The streaming platform rolled out the Rs 999 annual plan and Rs 99 monthly plan for ad-free Hollywood content, along with ad-supported local-language content last year. JioCinema also has the exclusive rights for Pokemon in India, which features around 20 movies and over 1,000 episodes.
The company stated that it will offer sports content like the ongoing IPL and several other entertainment shows for free with ads. Meanwhile, popular shows like House Of The Dragon, Oppenheimer, Game Of Thrones, Barbie, Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond, and Murder In Mahim, as well as kids' shows like Motu Patlu, Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol will be included in the new plans.
