Samsung is known to tweak, if not completely change the design of its flagship phones every year. This time around, the Galaxy S24 series could have a flatter design according to some leaked dummy units. These show all three models viz., the S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra side by side, thus hinting at their size differences, and more importantly, their squared-off edges.

Samsung Galaxy S24 series dummy units (leaked)

These alleged Galaxy S24 series dummies come from a tech reviewer named Sonny Dickson on X.com. He has posted the renders from different angles which helps us have a better picture of the devices in our head.

The eyes go straight to the angular edges of the dummy phones. Even the Ultra model appears to have flat edges. If true, this should make all of these phones less slippery. The comfort aspect would be subjective.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra could come across as a more proper note-taking phablet because of its boxy design. The Plus model is slightly shorter in size and even smaller is the vanilla variant.

They all have a similar vertical camera layout to their predecessors. The rings sit unfettered and distinctly on the back. Let’s see what these rings hold inside among other details we know about the devices.

Samsung Galaxy S24 series specifications (expected)

Display: The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra could come with a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with WQHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision support. The Galaxy S24+ could have a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen and the regular S24 could bring a 6.1-inch FHD+ display.
Processor: All three models could come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with Adreno GPU in select markets and Exynos 2400 SoC in others.
Software: All of them could ship with Android 14-based One UI 6 software.
Cameras: Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra could sport a 200MP+12MP+10MP+ 3x zoom quad camera setup.
Battery: Under the hood, the Ultra could be holding a 5,000mAh battery with a 45W fast charging capability.

We don’t have confirmations from the brand on any of these specs, features, or design aspects yet. So, take them with a grain of salt. The rumour is that the Galaxy S24 series will launch on January 17th, 2025. We should have more concrete details by then.
