Leading technology brand LG India has launched its next generation of AI TVs in India under the LG OLED evo and QNED lineup. These are available in multiple sizes starting from 43-inch to 97-inch. These were originally introduced at CES 2024 earlier this year and are claimed to cater to the diverse viewing preferences of customers im the country.
LG OLED evo and QNED TV prices
- LG OLED evo G4 AI Series: The LG OLED evo G4 AI series is available in 97-inch, 77-inch, 65-inch, and 55-inch. These have a starting price of Rs 239,990 and go all the way up to 20,49,990.
- LG OLED evo C4 AI Series: The lineup is available in 83-inch, 77-inch, 65-inch, 55-inch, 48-inch, and 42-inch and have a starting price of Rs 119,990
- LG OLED B4 AI Series: The models are available in 77-inch, 65-inch, 55-inch and have a starting price of 169,990.
- LG QNED MiniLED (QNED90T): The model is only available in 65-inch size and is priced at Rs 189,990.
- LG QNED (QNED88T): The lineup is available in 75-inch, 65-inch, 55-inch, 50-inch, 43-inch and have a starting price of Rs 103,990.
- LG QNED (QNED82T): Customers can buy the TV in 75-inch, 65-inch, 55-inch, 50-inch, and 43-inch. The starting price of the lineup is Rs 62,990.
These TVs will be available via authorised retailers, LG India website, and noted e-commerce platforms.
LG OLED evo and QNED TV features
LG’s latest OLED AI TVs come with enhanced AI upscaling capabilities, enriching and sharpening objects and backgrounds with precise pixel-level image analysis for improved picture quality. The AI processor is claimed to refine colour to capture the original mood and colour tone of the content.
The AI Sound Pro enhances the audio by leveraging the virtual 11.1.2 surround sound from the TV’s built-in speakers. The LG OLED evo G4 series comes with the brand’s Brightness Booster Max technology to achieve peak brightness that is claimed to be 150 percent brighter than conventional OLED TVs
The LG new OLED TVs come with Dolby Vision Gaming 4K at 144Hz refresh rate, NVIDIA G-SYNC certified and are compatible with AMD FreeSync. There’s also Game Optimiser to allow gamers to switch between display presets designed for different gaming genres.
LG’s 2024 QNED AI TVs: These models feature the next generation of LCD technology and feature a combination of two colour technologies: Quantum Dot and NanoCell. Thanks to local dimming technology, the TVs create sharp contrast and exceptional brightness. The QNED line-up is further elevated with QNED MiniLED TV, which is touted to be the best next thing after OLED. The AI capability of LG QNED AI TV refines picture quality and also boasts richer audio with virtual 9.1.2 surround sound.
The LG OLED AI TVs and QNED AI TVs continue to support the image and audio-enhancing capabilities of Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. There is a new ‘FILMMAKER MODE’. which allows users to see films just as the director intended. The LG TVs come with Apple AirPlay and Google Chromecast built-in to let users effortlessly cast content from their mobile devices. LG is promising 5 years of OS updates under the new webOS program.
