Logitech leads as most sought-after peripherals brand: 91mobiles Gaming Peripherals Buyer Insights Survey

With rising interest in PC gaming in India, the Indian gaming peripherals market is expected to reach a revenue of USD 893.46 million by 2034, up from USD 53 million in 2025, per IMARC Group. Seeing the massive growth potential of this industry, we at 91mobiles went ahead and surveyed over 5,000 participants to analyse peripheral buyers’ preferences, changes in ownership share, track customer buying journey, and more. As part of the survey, we noticed that Logitech made waves by capturing a high percentage of ownership and brand-loyalty share among participants.

Logitech and Zebronics are the most used peripheral brands

Peripherals Buyer Insights Survey
  • As part of the survey, we asked the participants which peripheral brand they currently own, irrespective of the product, including gaming monitors, keyboards, mice, and more.
  • While selecting multiple options was allowed, Logitech came on top, with 28.3 percent of the survey takers owning a product from the brand.
  • Operating at the global stage, Logitech caters to a wide audience by offering gaming keyboards, mice, headsets, microphones, joysticks, and even racing wheels in its portfolio.
  • Coming in second is Zebronics, a renowned Indian brand known for offering a wide range of consumer electronic goods, with a share of 25.8 percent.
  • The third, fourth, and fifth positions were taken up by Ant Esports, Razer, and Cosmic Byte.

One in five people plans to stick with Logitech for their next peripheral.

Peripherals Buyer Insights Survey
  • About 20 percent of survey participants owning a Logitech product say they would resort to the same company for future peripheral purchases. This could be attributed to the positive experience with Logitech products in the past.
  • Apart from that, Logitech could be benefiting from its strong “legacy” status, which pushes both existing and new buyers to choose the brand for their next peripheral purchase. Its extensive product catalogue spans everything from entry-level office gear to high-end pro esports tools.
  • It appears that people currently using Razer peripherals are also likely to stick with the brand, as around 12 percent of Razer owners say they would opt for the same brand again. Despite lacking a direct brand presence, Razer carries a strong third-party distribution network that caters to “aspirational” gamers.

Here’s how HyperX, Zebronics, and others fare in terms of brand loyalty

  • HyperX, with a 10 percent loyalty share, remains a powerhouse, thanks to being a legacy name. It appears that since the HP acquisition, it has successfully expanded its visibility and retail footprint beyond its traditional “hardcore” audience.
  • Homegrown and value-focused brands like Zebronics, Ant Esports, and Cosmic Byte are dominating the high-volume entry segment by offering premium features, such as RGB lighting and mechanical switches, at aggressive price points.
  • SteelSeries and Corsair, with 4.5 percent and 6.2 percent share, respectively, maintain a lower but stable presence among existing users by focusing on high-margin, “enthusiast-grade” products that prioritise build quality and ecosystem loyalty over mass-market volume.
  • A clear split is emerging between “generalist” legacy brands and “niche” players (like Keychron for productivity/custom keyboards), showing that users are increasingly buying per-category rather than sticking to a single brand for their entire desk.

Logitech caters to gamers and streamers through software systems

  • Recently, 91mobiles sat down with Roopak Krishnan, Head of Marketing and Category at Logitech India, to discuss how Logitech plans to cater to the ever-growing peripherals market in India.
  • As part of the conversation, it’s revealed that even though gamers and streamers are distinct roles, Logitech peripherals serve both audiences through the Logitech G HUB, a proprietary software that lets users customise and manage Logitech G gaming gear, including mice, keyboards, headsets, and speakers.
  • The Logitech G HUB unlocks advanced features like RGB lighting control (LIGHTSYNC), button remapping, macro creation, DPI adjustment, and automatic profile switching for games, enabling gamers and streamers to customise their Logitech gear in their preferred way.
  • This level of control over its peripheral ecosystem could also be a key reason behind Logitech’s growing brand loyalty.

Logitech is consistently tapping the high-end to premium peripheral market in India

  • As of late, Logitech has introduced the Logitech MX Master 4, a premium-level mouse aimed at creative professionals, developers and business users, while the Logitech Signature Slim Solar+ K980 keyboard runs on solar energy, eliminating the need for charging.
  • In our Logitech MX Master 4 review, we noted that it’s one of the most capable productivity tools you can buy, given the amount of flexibility the mouse offers, thanks to the remappable buttons.
  • Even though India remains an “entry-level gear” dominant market, Roopak Krishnan notes that gamers in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities are leaning towards premium peripherals, the same ones their favourite streamer or gamer uses.
  • Considering the premium price tag of high-end gears, such as the G Pro X Superlight 2 DEX mouse, Logitech ensures every product is built using cutting-edge technology that sets the industry benchmarks.
