Moto G64 5G India launch date has been officially announced. The new Motorola phone will be the latest entrant in the G-series and comes as an upgrade to the Moto G54 5G. In addition to the launch date, the brand has also revealed key specifications, its design, and colour options of the Moto G64. Here’s everything we know about the new Moto phone launching in India.

Moto G64 5G India launch date has been scheduled for April 16th. The company announced it through a small teaser video on X. The launch event will start at 12:00pm. Motorola also confirmed the smartphone will go on sale via Flipkart, Motorola India’s e-store, and all leading retail stores.
Moto G64 5G specifications confirmed
Moto G64 5G will feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 chipset. It’s touted to be the world’s first smartphone with this chipset. In the photography department, Moto G64 5G will house a 50MP OIS primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP macro + depth sensor. For selfies, you get a 16MP front camera.
The brand will launch the phone in two variants – 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. You will also get up to 24GB of extended RAM with the phone. The smartphone is also confirmed to pack a 6000mAh battery with 33W TurboPower fast charging support.
On the software front, the smartphone will run Android 14 out-of-the-box. It comes with an assured upgrade to Android 15, and three years of security updates. Moto G64 5G is also confirmed to come with an IP52 rating for water resistance, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and My UX customisation.

Moto G64 5G has a punch-hole display with curved edges. The phone appears to look slightly thick with fairly larger bezels. It will come in three colour options Green, Blue and Purple.
