The Moto G64 5G is all set to launch as a successor to the Moto G54 5G in India this week. Before the official announcement, Motorola has already unveiled all the major specifications and features of the upcoming smartphone, except for its price in India. It is known that the Moto G64 5G will be the first to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 chipset in India. Moto G64 India launch date, availability
Motorola recently revealed that the Moto G64 5G is launching in India on April 16th, and the event will begin at 12:00 pm (IST). The company has also confirmed that the Moto G64 5G will be available in the country via Motorols’s official website, Flipkart, and leading retail outlets post-launch.
Moto G64 specifications
The Moto G64 5G will boast a 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD 120Hz display and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It will be the first phone equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 chipset.
In terms of RAM and storage, the phone will come with 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB models. It will also come with up to 24GB of extended RAM, and up to 1TB of expandable storage via microSD card.
On the rear, the smartphone will sport a 50MP OIS-enabled main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and an 8MP macro + depth sensor. Meanwhile, the Moto G65 will feature a 16MP sensor for video calls and selfies on the front.
The Moto G65 5G will house a 6,000mAh battery featuring a 33W TurboPower fast charging technology. The phone will also get an IP52 rating for water resistance, a 3.5mm headphone jack, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and much more.
Moto G64 design, colour variants
The Moto G64 features a sleek design with the camera setup in a rectangular-shaped module with two rounded lenses placed on the upper top left of the rear panel. In the center of the back panel, you will find Motorola’s logo as part of the company’s branding. On the front, it features an edge-to-edge display with a centered punch-hole cutout at the top for the selfie camera.
The right edge of the Moto G64 features volume and power keys, while the left edge has the SIM slot. At the bottom edge of the phone, there is likely a speaker grille and USB Type C port. Meanwhile, as far as the colour options are concerned, the Moto G64 will come in Ice Lilac, Mint Green, and Pearl Blue colour options.
As per a recent report, the upcoming Moto G64 5G is anticipated to launch in India under Rs 20,000. It is worth mentioning that Moto G54 came with a starting price of Rs 15,999 in India. However, the exact price of the Moto G64 5G will be known on Tuesday during the launch.
